Book Summary
What makes this book unique? - This book doesn't try to convince the reader with a subjective innocent or guilty interpretation of Islam, rather it allows for a real and deep look into the unknown facts, details, and structure of the religion and lifestyle as a whole. It describes how Muslims think, what they believe in and how they see the world including other religions and peoples.

It doesn't describe how Muslims practice their religion, but rather why, explaining the background of the faith with more than 1.5 billion followers around the world today.

It presents Islam accurately as it is understood by traditional Islamic scholars, offering the reader a truly authentic, comprehensive, and deeper insight into Islam, its structure and its way of reasoning. The author of this work is himself a scholar who has studied Islam for more than 17 years from more than 72 scholars at Al Azhar, the oldest academic institution in the Islamic world.

This book is approved by the inspection authority of Al Azhar in Egypt, representing one of the most widely-accepted religious authorizations.

It offers a better chance at peaceful communication between followers of different religions, aiming to develop a common understanding that we can be different but still live together peacefully.

This book's design is a unique, containing over 140 color illustrations, figures and pictures which embody meanings through visualizations and different elements which make the book a real enjoyable work of art.

Content

Where do I come from, and where does this world come from? Why am I here? and where will I go after I die? Based on these key questions about our existence, the book explores, from the Islamic perspective, how a harmonic relationship between man and the universe exists, and how a balance between the needs of the soul and the needs of the body is established. The reasons for inner peace and spiritual tranquility, as rooted in Islam, will also be closely examined.

Some of the subjects covered in the chapters includes: In addition to exploring the key questions posed above in Chapters 1 and 2, and part of Ch. 5, the book conveys a detailed description of paradise (Janna) in Islam.

Ch. 3 highlights what kind of person Muhammad was and how he treated children, women, and non-Muslims around him. Through this discussion, the reader discovers how Muhammad managed to obtain such great influence on the history of the world and gain the faith of billions of people.

Ch. 4 addresses the question of what the Quran is, and how it has been identically preserved, down to the very last letter, for over 1400 years, in each and every single one of its copies.

The position of Islam on controversial topics such as sex, sin and violence is explored in Ch.5, which also provides an explanation of aging and death. It will also be explained why God allows injustice and sorrow, while being considered merciful and just at the same time. Here we will also discover the deeper meaning of prayer in Islam, and we will find out the reasons for their chronological placement.

In the sixth chapter, the topics that currently dominate the image of Islam in the media will be taken up, discussed and explained using Islam's original sources the Quran, Sunnah and Sharia (Islamic Law). Additionally, the everyday application of these issues in Muslim societies throughout history will be discussed. Here, the position of women in Islam will be addressed first, followed by the relation between freedom, civilization and Islam as a state system, the interaction of Muslims with religious minorities throughout history. Finally, Jihad and its meaning will be illustrated.
